Fusion have demonstrated a driverless ‘pod’ vehicle in Millennium Square, Bristol. The vehicle, commissioned for the Greenwich Gateway project, is built by Westfield in Dudley, West Midlands, and uses Fusion’s ‘CAVstar’ sensing and control system to safely find its way to a chosen destination. The demonstration is organised by the Bristol based Venturer project, and will run until 6th August 2017, with opportunities for members of the public to ride in the pod. Watch the video clip.
